when you are 18 years old, (which i am) you spend a lot of time thinking about what you are doing with your life (which i do).
there are times when i am so hopeful for the future, and others where i just want to curl in a ball for the rest of my life. but that is life. the time when i feel most motivated and seem to find answers to my questioning thoughts is when i listen to music. music has such a deep meaning to me. and there are songs that when i listen to them, i feel like i can do every possible dream i have.

oh herro, people.

i just haven't been in the blogging mood as of late. but now, things have changed.
i am about to update you on all the things i have been up to:

going to nyc for christmas and new years!

it was very nice spending time with my family.

it wasn't very nice being in tons of freaking snow.

the nicest thing was probably meeting this little guy.
my nephew, oliver joseph morris.

i am still just going to school at paul mitchell, and i must say... i am getting pretty beast at doing hair.
i recently just got a job at a place called RESPONSE. basically... i am gonna be calling erybody to see if they want to sign up for seminars.
i went snowboarding for the first time last week. even though i was sure i was never going to get up and actually be able to go down the mountain, i didn't do to shabby! i actually did pretty good if i say so myself, with only a few wipeouts. there was one time where i just had to lay there for a few minutes before i realized what happened.
worst thing that has happened? emily moved back to las vegas. i miss our weekly dates.

but what do i do with the majority of my time?
i play JUST DANCE with this kid.

we have a lot of fun :)

so, i got bored of that "post something about yourself" thing everyday. maybe i will finish it another time.

but! what i do have to tell you is what my and my beloved roommates (including jake, skyler, and adam) did last night. we covered the walls of our apartment and finger painted all over them. while doing this, we filled taco shells with spaghetti and ate them! thanks to iCarly, we now have a new delicious meal that according to haddy, we will be having weekly. it was definitely a night to remember.

updates: got a new roomate (ashley, she is awesome), i am dating someone (jacob), i have some great new friends (adam, zach, skyler)

oh also, the best game ever is zombie hide in go seek. but that's another story.

daniel moore. ever since i entered the halls of advanced technologies academy, this kid has been my best friend. we can read each other like a book. even if i had my brave face on, he could tell instantly if something was wrong. he is always there to talk to, especially in the smegol voice. this guy made high school bearable.

heather and kylee whittle. we partied hard at a young age, we party hard now. years and years of memories are stored in my head. nothing is boring with these girls around. and that is why i love them.

from the age 2 to 18. we were inseparable. no one could make me laugh more and feel more like myself. through the years, friends faded and went; but never this girl. she is my rock, the one person i know would be there. i have always wanted to be like emily. not one person in the world isn't in love with her shining personality. she is one of the most beautiful young ladies in the world and i am proud to have been her best friend growing up.

this whole night started with a series of prank phone calls. my dear friend siana tuitana kept receiving phone calls, and to retaliate, we decided we were going to go toilet paper the girl's house. we got dressed up in baggy clothes and bandannas and got into heather's beautiful white mustang. we drove past our church building where a stake dance was being held. i saw one of my favorite youth leaders and wanted to say hello! okay, i tend to get a little crazy when i went to stake dances in my younger years, and my leaders loved to watch my friends and i dance like idiots. because of this, this particular leader convinced me to stay and let me and my fellow companions get into the dance for free. we spent the remainder of the evening acting ever crazier than usual and taking a plethora of pictures with my beloved cannon rebel XI. this will forever a night to remember... the night my friends and i crashed a stake dance.

it took me about... 3 hours to sew this sucker together. i personally thought it was the greatest costume, until i saw my sister in her gilly costume. anyways! i sported this little beauty to school, the movie theater, and the few parties i blessed my presence with. i received a few compliments and even stuck out my tongue and made the classic *bloobloop* yoshi noise to please the crowd.

oh hey!
okay, so... i tried to whole blogging thing during high school. and by viewing my recent posts, i obviously failed. i promised numerous times that i would get better at blogging and show the entire world the details of my life. well, now this promise is for real. i am in college now! leaving me large amounts of time to blog. not to mention things are so much more exciting and interesting than high school drama!

so, let me give a fast review of my life since i moved to provo, utah a short two months ago. i live in lexington 11 at liberty square with three other fantastic girls! i have two non-official roommates but they basically live here, so i will say i basically have 5 roommates. i do not attend byu... i made the excellent choice of going to paul mitchell cosmetology school! no homework, ftw.
of course i miss the good old heat and people of las vegas, nevada; but this is an adventure i wouldn't want to miss out on.
now, and adventure is nothing without people who make it 10x better. i would like to introduce you to a few of them now!

this lady right here is the straight up bee's knees. and a complete liar. you can never believe the first thing that comes out of her mouth when answering a question. but it always makes life so much more enjoyable. i love her.

now! mauri wood

i have never met a more sassy, crazy, freaking legit girl ever. she randomly starts yelling and screaming and guess what... i love it! there is never a dull moment if she is around, so therefore; i always want to be around her!

and then there is miss haddy jarvis. but sadly, we do not have a picture together... which will be fixed freaking shortly. thats all i got to say... but! she does not fit the typical utah stereotype. i love her with all of my heart and so thankful she lives with me!

this kid is crazy. but also quite possibly the funniest guy in provo. as the person who i spend most of my time with, he makes living here in provo freaking amazing. and we probably have spent about one million dollars at the dollar theater. no big deal.
he has taught we how to longboard, over come my fear of heights while rock climbing, and introduced me to the awesome band guster.

i thought college life would be good, but i never expected it to be this great.

my mother just broke the news to me...
as soon as possible, she will be making an appointment for me to get those little suckers called wisdom teeth yanked out of my head. good news though, i will be put to sleep. (yeah, that's right. the oral surgeon said he could just numb my mouth like a mother. how many times could i say hell no to that)

so, i am attending byui (brigham young universtity: idaho) in the fall. reason as to why i am so excited? my best friend, emily stolworthy will be joining me. and the possibilities of us being roomates? very high. i cannot wait to go. everyone says college is a wonderful experience and i cannot wait to get started.
